The Whole Communities–Whole Health Research Showcase will highlight projects from the past year including advances to environmental beacons, mobile phone applications, as well as updates from our ongoing community engaged study on Health and Wellness in Del Valle.
Dr. Jacquelyn Taylor is the Helen F. Petit Professor of Nursing at Columbia University School of Nursing (CUSON), where she is also the Founding Executive Director of the Center for Research on People of Color (CRPC). Dr. Taylor is also the Founding Executive Director of the Kathleen Hickey Endowed Lectureship on Cardiovascular Care, the first endowed lectureship honoring a nurse scientist at Columbia University.

Dr. Taylor discusses how mentorship, pilot funding, and interdisciplinary contributions to advancing science can lead to a career that helps determine important impacts and contributions to reducing health disparities.

2. West side of the building at 2nd floor Plaza Level.
This building also connects to the Ernest Cockrell Jr. Hall (ECJ) building via an interior walkway at the 2nd floor.
